"The best thing about a picture is that it never changes, even when the people in it do." — Andy Warhol

I'm Rickland, a 36-year-old country boy from Anderson, South Carolina, now calling Charlotte, North Carolina home. After spending over a decade in telecommunications, I traded wires and schedules for cameras and creativity. What started as curiosity quickly became a calling, and I haven’t looked back since.

Photography lets me do what I love—work for myself, travel, meet new people, and freeze time in a way only a camera can. Whether it’s a family portrait, a wedding, or just a quiet moment between shots, I find purpose in capturing real, lasting memories. A good photo, like Andy Warhol said, stays the same—even as life keeps moving. That truth fuels everything I do behind the lens.

When I’m not working, I’m likely sharing laughs with my kids, enjoying a cold beer, or catching a nap when I can. My approach is simple and honest: keep things real, focus on what matters, and deliver images that speak long after the moment has passed.
